Snigdha Poonam is a creative nonfiction writer. Her first book, Dreamers: How Young Indians Are Changing Their World, won 2018’s Crossword Award for nonfiction and was longlisted in 2019 for the PEN America Literary Awards. In 2023, she received a MacDowell fellowship to finish her next book. She is based in Oxfordshire.
